Ingredients
- 8 medium sweet potatoes
- 1-1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup margarine
Method
Step 1
Boil water in a pot. Add sweet potatoes. Cook for about 10 minutes until tender. Drain, cool, and peel.
Step 2
Slice potatoes and place in a greased 2-1/2 quart baking dish. In a saucepan combine remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil stirring frequently. Pour over potatoes.
Step 3
Bake uncovered at 350° for 45 minutes, basting occasionally.
