Ingredients

  • 6 boneless chicken breasts or cut of your choice
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup honey

Method

Step 1

If using chicken with skin on, brown chicken pieces in oil. Put chicken in crock pot. Season with salt and pepper. In a bowl mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, oil and garlic. Pour over chicken.

Step 2

Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.

    Hey Janet, I’m thinking of cutting this down for Pete and me and putting it in my crockpot to have when we get home from Sheriff’s Band rehearsal tomorrow. In looking at the directions, I saw mention of soy sauce, but don’t see it in the ingredients. So I went back to your mom’s recipe card, and sure enough, there it is. I wanted to let you know so you can correct your ingredient list.
