Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 2 packages (1-3/4 pounds each ) chicken wingettes or party wings

Method

Step 1

Whisk all ingredients except chicken. Reserve 3 tablespoons for finishing glaze. Pour remaining marinade into a Ziploc bag. Add chicken and marinate overnight.

Step 2

Heat oven to 400°. Line broiler pan with foil. Spray broiler rack. Arrange wingettes on rack. Bake 40-45 minutes, turning chicken once. Heat broiler. Brush wings with remaining marinade. Broil 6 inches from heat until crispy and glazed, about 4 minutes.

Step 3

Or air fry at 400° for 20 minutes, turning once.
