Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 package (10 ounces) frozen strawberries with juice, thawed
  • 1 container (8 ounces) Cool Whip
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 package (11 ounces) Pecan Sandies cookies

Method

Step 1

Crush cookies and pat two-thirds of the mixture into pan. Reserve balance for topping.

Step 2

Beat sugar, lemon juice, egg whites and thawed strawberries for 8 minutes. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over crumbs in pan. Top with reserved crumbs. Freeze. Do not defrost to serve.

Step 3

**NOTE this recipe has uncooked eggs. Be sure to use fresh pasteurized eggs, and beat well for specified time.
