Ingredients

  • 1 pound cake (16 ounces) cut into 18 slices
  • 2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 jar (18 ounces) raspberry jam
  • 1-1/2 pints fresh raspberries plus more for garnish
  • whipped cream

Method

Step 1

Place one-third of sliced cake on bottom of trifle dish. Prepare pudding according to instructions.

Step 2

Place one-third of cake around inside of bowl using half of pudding to hold them in place, covering bottom cake with pudding too. Stir jam and raspberries together. Spoon half over pudding layer. Cover with remaining cake pieces. Layer remaining pudding and raspberry mixture. Chill. Garnish with whipped cream and fresh raspberries.
