Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen cut broccoli
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed or regular chicken broth
  • 2 cups cubed cooked turkey
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne or 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
  • cooked egg noodles

Method

Step 1

Cook broccoli according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

In a 2 quart casserole dish, melt butter. Add onion. Cover and cook on high until tender, about 2 minutes.

Step 3

Add flour and blend well. Whisk in broth. Cook on high for 4-6 minutes until thick and bubbly, stirring after 2 minutes.

Step 4

Add remaining ingredients except noodles. Cook on high for 2-3 minutes or until heated through, stirring once. Serve over noodles.
