Ingredients

  • 8 oz. fettuccine
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 ounces cooked ham slices, cut in strips

Method

Step 1

Cook fettuccine according to package directions.

Step 2

Combine water, bouillon and basil and bring to a boil. Add peas and return to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Whisk together milk and flour. Add to pea mixture. Cook until boiling, stirring constantly. Add Parmesan and ham. Cook and stir until cheese is melted and ham is heated. Pour sauce over pasta. Toss to coat.
