Ingredients

  • 8 cups water, or chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cans cannellini beans, undrained
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable base
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 stalk celery, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 tablespoons pesto
  • 2 tomatoes, diced

Method

Step 1

Boil water or broth. Add vegetable base (if using water) and beans. Bring to a boil. Add all vegetables. Add pesto. Salt & pepper to taste. Simmer for 30-45 minutes.
