Ingredients

  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3-4 pounds pork spareribs
  • 1/2 cup honey barbeque sauce
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup spicy mustard
  • salt & pepper

Method

Step 1

Remove membrane from bone side of ribs and cut into serving size pieces.

Step 2

Place onion in slow cooker. Top with ribs and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low 8-9 hours.

Step 3

Finish in the broiler for a few minutes if desired.

In the last photo the blue plate is Texas Lone Star Ribs.  Red is this recipe.  Orange is Sweet & Sour Spareribs and green is Ribs with Plum Sauce.
